drawings will be held throughout the awards ceremony. Entertainment will be provided
by local talent, and concessions will be offered. Refreshments will be given at

The All-America City 10K Run/Walk was founded in 1983 and continues to be a South
Texas race tradition.
-
The All-America City 10k Run/Walk is a family oriented event which promotes wellness
and fitness with participants ranging in ages 3-80.
-
The All-America City 10K Run/Walk has distributed over $10,000 in awards and prizes
to participant. 95% of all 10k runners and 99% of the spectators are from throughout
the Rio Grande Valley; and, it attracts top runners from across the state and
Mexico.

Over 4,000 spectators and 500 volunteers are expected to participate in this year's
event.

Valley-wide schools and numerous organizations partake annually as team runners.

The All-America City 10K Run/Walk has been featured in over 25,000 printed publications,
100 radio slots, 75 television PSA's and highlighted on more than 30 television
programs.

Time: 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. On
day of the event, packets will be available at Municipal Park until 10:45 a.m.
for the 2-Mile Run/Walk and until 12:30 p.m. for the 10K Run/Walk. NO EXCEPTIONS.
