Neighborhood Clean Up:
This program was developed to help non-profit organizations promote clean and safe neighborhoods by the eradication of unsightly areas. To reserve a roll-off for your project, call the Department of Solid Waste Management. Roll-offs are reserved on a first come first serve basis and are available on weekends.

Quarterly Clean Up:
Our Quarterly Clean Up events are a community collection event and are held to provide residents with the ability to dispose of any accumulated waste materials they may have, free of charge. Citizens benefit from the removal of unsightly trash, tires, white goods, and brush. The City of Edinburg sets open top containers for disposal of these items. The event is promoted through advertisements and flyers and is conducted at regular quarterly intervals throughout the years.

Mosquito Control
The Department of Solid Waste Management is responsible for providing mosquito control within the City of Edinburg. We ask our residents to help by eliminating breading areas by disposing of stagnant water and any container that may hold it, also weedy lots or tall grasses must be cleared as these create habitats for mosquitoes. If you have any questions please contact the Department of Solid Waste Management

Small Animal Carcass Removal
On request, small animal carcass placed on the curb will be collected at no additional charge. Do not place dead animals in garbage containers unless wrapped.

Anti-Graffiti Service
Graffiti is a form of vandalism and is a problem that impacts our neighborhoods in a variety of ways. It decreases property values in residential neighborhoods and negatively affects industrial and commercial areas. To request the removal or painting over graffiti please call the Department of Solid Waste Management.

Christmas Tree Collection SErvice
Edinburg residents are urged to place Christmas trees in front or behind the curb for collection. Threes must be free of decorations, tinsel, flocking and stands. Flocked trees should be placed with the brush for regular brush collection. Trees are chipped and material is available at the Edinburg Recycling & Educational Center.
