Our AWOS III provides pilots with complete weather observations including barometer, wind speed and direction, temperature, dew point, precipitation, cloud height, visibility and lighting. This information is updated every 20 minutes and can be accessed via VHF frequency, telephone, or visually on the display at the terminal building.
This information is also disseminated to the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Weather Message Switching Center Replacement (WMSCR) System through a National Airspace Data Interchange Network (NADIN) Data Service Agreement between the City and DBT Transportation Services, in accordance with FAA Specifications every 20 minutes, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
