Alarm Test Identification Number
A major key element to preventing false fire alarm activations is to notify the alarm monitoring company and the fire department dispatch center.
It will be necessary for all servicing companies and property owners to submit an Alarm Test Identification Form each time the alarm system will be inspected, repaired, conducting fire drills and etc.
The fire alarm test identification numbers will only be valid for the duration of the repair or test. In the event the fire alarm system sends a false fire alarm signal, without having been issued a fire alarm test identification number, then the responsible party will be subject to penalties identified in the False Fire Alarm Activation Ordinance 93.29.
