Effective March 1, 2019, the Edinburg Fire Marshal’s Office will be implementing a Fire Inspection Fee program adopted into the City of Edinburg Code of Ordinances. The fire inspection fees are strictly specific to the types of occupancies and inspections listed on the fee schedule.

We understand that the implementation of new programs can create a bit of a learning curve but we are here to help. Please take the time to review and follow the steps below in order to help us provide you with prompt services.

Applying for a regulated fire inspection:

1. Obtain a Fire Inspection Request Form:
     a. Download and print a copy of the Fire Inspection Request Form or
     b. Pick up a form at:
          Edinburg Fire Department
          212 W. McIntyre Edinburg, Texas
     
2. Fill out the form by selecting the type(s) of inspection being requested.

3. Submit form and payment to:
     City of Edinburg Water Department
      415 W. University, Edinburg, Texas

4. Fire inspections will become eligible for scheduling after payment confirmation has been submitted
      to the Edinburg Fire Department.
