Aquatics Division

Public Swim Attire  -  Rules & Regulations

The Aquatics Division provides a safe environment for the community to enjoy our City pools, help introduce water safety concepts and encourage a healthy recreational habit that your entire family can enjoy. We believe that everyone in the City of Edinburg deserves to have a one-of-a-kind swimming experience while providing the safest and cleanest environment possible.

Each swimming facility offers the public a chance to get active and escape the summer heat at the City’s large park pool, neighborhood walk-to pool. Swimming lessons, Water Aerobics, and Lap Swimming are also offered.

Our residents are ensured that our swimming instructors offer experienced guidance and a fun atmosphere for our students. Our lessons are designed to make learning fun throughout the duration of courses starting with infants of 16 months and up to adulthood.

The Aquatics Division maintains and staffs the Edinburg Municipal Water Park, a three-pool facility featuring a 125-foot long figure eight slide. Other amenities include a sand-pit volleyball court, a tanning area, barbecue grills, picnic tables, and water basketball.

The Municipal Water Park operates six-months of the year.

Fountain Swimming Pool is a kidney shaped swimming pool containing bathing facilities, a 70-foot water slide, a sand-pit volleyball court, a barbecue grill, and a picnic area.
