South Texas International Airport Advisory Board


The Airport Advisory Board advises the City Manager (or Designee) and reports to the City Council on a periodic basis concerning all matters affecting the Edinburg Airport. This includes but is not limited to: safety, security, planning, airspace, runway protection, safety zones encroachments, capital improvement projects, hangar construction, and aviation business operations at the airport. 

The Board meets regularly on an as-needed basis each month at 6 p.m. at the Terminal Building's Conference Room.
