Texas General Land Commissioner Visits with Edinburg Councilmembers
“We’re looking to have a lot more projects and a lot more daily contact with our representatives up in Austin,” Molina said. “It’s very special for Mr. Bush to be here in our city hall.”
After a warm musical welcome from the Edinburg North High School Mariachi Oro, Bush and councilmembers discussed potential partnerships for the future and the council’s vision for the city moving forward.
“We want to be partners for the future of this great region,” Bush said.
The Texas General Land Office primarily serves Texas school children, veterans, and the environment. The agency does so by preserving history, maximizing state revenue through innovative administration, and through the prudent stewardship of state lands and natural resources.
