#WearBlueDay Human Trafficking Awareness Day
Human trafficking is a modern form of slavery in different forms from forced labor to debt bondage plus many other forms which affects over 27 million people world-wide, including our Rio Grande Valley. This is why the Edinburg Police Department is bringing awareness this month by educating the public about it and working together to help end it once and for all.
The Edinburg Police Department is encouraging participation on January 11th where they promote #WearBlueDay National Human Trafficking Awareness Day in order to bring awareness for this cause. Watch our our officers wearing blue ribbons and our staff and join the movement for a human trafficking-free future.
