Christmas Tree Recycling Pick Up in Edinburg Scheduled for Jan. 8-26

Edinburg, Texas (Jan. 8, 2018) — The Department of Solid Waste Management will be collecting Christmas trees for recycling from Jan. 8 to Jan. 26, 2018. 

Residents are asked to place their Christmas trees next to the curb for collection.  Please note that trees must be free of decorations, tinsel, flocking, and stands.  Flocked trees should be placed with regular brush for collection.

Residents who wish to drop off their Christmas tree can do so at the following locations: 

    • City of Edinburg Recycling and Educational Center

3102 S. Business 281                 

Monday through Friday 8 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

    • City of Edinburg Edinburg Regional Landfill

8601 N. Jasman Road

Monday through Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Saturdays from 8 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

    • City of Edinburg Service Center

1201 N. Doolittle Road

Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Saturday & Sunday, Closed.

Cardboard boxes, wrapping paper, and Christmas cards, can also be dropped off at the Edinburg Recycling Center.  For more information on what items can be recycled residents can call 956-381-5635.
