The City of Edinburg welcomes MAXIMUS as the newest member of the City’s business community. MAXIMUS is a leading provider of government services world wide and provides health and human services program management and consulting to its clients. MAXIMUS will open and operate a Customer Contact Center in Edinburg bringing 400 new jobs to the area. A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will take place at its new home located at 1920 Industrial Dr. on Thursday August 11th at 10 a.m.

The ceremony will include remarks by Edinburg Mayor Richard H. Garcia, State Representative Aaron Pena and Leslie Wolfe, Division President Central Region, Health Services for MAXIMUS.

“With the sky-high unemployment rates across the country, it is heartwarming as mayor to be able to announce the creation of 400 new jobs for our community,” Says Mayor Garcia. “These additional positions in Edinburg will ensure that 400 more people will be able to provide for their families and those who benefit from the services MAXIMUS provides, will get the help they deserve.”

MAXIMUS has a contract with the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) and will serve to help Texans seek HHSC services such as Medicaid, SNAP food benefits and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families.

Tours of the facility will be provided immediately following the ceremony for all media and guests.
