Standards
The Standards Manual has been developed as part of the Unified Development Code adopted by the Edinburg City Council and Effective October 1, 2007. City Council more specifically adopted the standards manual during three separate readings. Ordinance No. 08-3291 was adopted on August 19, 2008, becoming effective September 19, 2008. In accordance with this ordinance, the City Engineer has been delegated to promulgate the Standards Manual which shall outline minimum standards for drainage, paving, sewer, stormwater, & water improvements within city limits and extra territorial jurisdiction. Compliance with the latest edition of this manual is required (Refer to revision sheet for latest updates).
