Latest Updates

The City of Edinburg Unified Development Code (UDC) was adopted by the City Council in 2007. A lot has changed since then, and our development regulations need to keep up with modern demands and expectations. Last year, the City began a historic update to its UDC. After months of meetings, research, work and insight from our committees, community members, and consultant, the Kendig Keast Collaborative, a final draft of the revised UDC is ready for adoption.

Your opinion matters. The UDC serves the people of our community, and anyone who works or lives here is impacted by its regulations. That’s why it is important to give your thoughts and feedback on this draft before we proceed. The community will have approximately one month to review the draft and make comments before it is presented to the City Council.

Once you’ve had the opportunity to review our updated UDC, please take the survey and give us your feedback. To view the updated UDC, please click here!
