Overview of Solid Waste Management

Our mission is to provide our residents/ customers with exemplary customer service and a safe, efficient and economical waste collection, processing and disposal system; to work closely with our community and commit ourselves to providing the highest quality of service possible in order to protect the natural environment, our citizens and employees in order to preserve our quality of life today and into the future. The Department currently serves approximately 26,000 households, 2,200 commercial/institutions and  employs 96 employees.
