Roll-Off Dumpster Rental Service

The City of Edinburg and the DSWM Collection Services Program offers 20 and 30 yard roll-off dumpsters. They are available for construction, industrial, hospital, business, residential, cleanup projects, junk removal, and school sites. Roll-offs are used to dispose of large/heavy debris like concrete, wood, bricks, or materials from construction, demolition, or remodeling.

Rates depend on container size. Annual evaluation is based on service costs. Please contact our office to select the right container. Flat-rate rentals prevent surprise fees. Limited stock may require waiting list placement.

Service DO's and Don'ts of Collection

• Keep Dumpster Area Clear Of All Debris, Brush & Bulky Waste
• Do Not Overload The Containers above the flange
• Please Bag & Tie All Trash
• No Parking In Front Or Near Dumpsters
• Gates/Enclosures To Dumpsters Should Be Opened Prior To Service
• Containers must be in a location accessible to trucks with no overhead obstructions

Only regular debris, junk, scrap or trash should be placed in City roll-off containers. Other household or putrescible waste should be placed in city carts or commercial dumpsters unless special arrangements with DSWM have been made. Bagging garbage helps keep containers clean and prevents vectors or windblown litter.

Prohibited Items, Additional Information & Specially Handled Items

Items that CANNOT be placed in your container:

• Household or restaurant garbage / food waste
• Ammunition
• Dead animals or animal excrement (unless designated)
• Electronics (TVs, computers, light modules)
• Hazardous, medical waste liquids or prohibited landfill materials
• Items needing special handling: motor oil, batteries, wet concrete, Freon-containing items
• Liquid waste
• Tires
• Whole drums or barrels
• Hot ashes or flammable materials like oil, gas, paint

Specially Handled Items: Hypodermic needles must be placed in a puncture-proof container (coffee can, milk jug, or soda bottle). Tape lid securely. Call DSWM at (956) 381-5635 for collection.
