  • Trash Bash Event - This is a community clean up event which provides the opportunity to increase public awareness on the reduction of litter and to help promote a Clean and Beautiful City. Groups and organizations are encouraged to participate in this event. Please call the Edinburg Recycling & Educational Center at 292-2133 in the month of March to sign-up for this event.
  • Texas Recycles Day Celebration - This is a statewide campaign aimed toward education and awareness about the benefits of waste reduction and recycling. Please call the Recycling and Educational Center to participate during the month of November to learn to reduce, reuse, recycle.
  • Neighborhood Clean Up - This program was developed to help non-profit organizations promote clean and safe neighborhoods by the eradication of unsightly areas.  To reserve a roll-off for your project, call the Department of Solid Waste Management.
  • Quarterly Clean Up - Our Quarterly Cleanup events are a community collection event and are held to provide residents with the ability to dispose of any accumulated waste materials they may have, free of charge.  Citizens benefit from the removal of unsightly trash, tires, white goods, and brush.  The City of Edinburg sets open top containers for disposal of these items.  The event is promoted through advertisements and flyers and is conducted at regular quarterly intervals throughout the year.
