The Airport Advisory Board regularly convenes bi-monthly, second Thursday of the month, 2:00 p.m. at the terminal conference room. During these public meetings Department of Aviation staff inform the board of operational statistics, fixed base operator performance including avfuels sales, capital improvement plans & projects.

The Community Development Council (CDC) advises the City Council on community development priorities, policies, and the allocation of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. Public Safety Advisory Board function is to advise the Chief of Police, Chief of the Fire Department, Mayor, City Council, City Manager, and City staff regarding programs, policies, and procedures that impact public safety; review and make recommendations on community livability concerns related to crime and fire prevention and traffic safety issues that affect public safety and the community livability; review and make recommendations for police/fire department-community partnerships to mitigate the negative influence of crime, fire damage, and traffic on the community; promote public education and awareness of the effects of crime and fear of crime on the community; to provide a forum to discuss both immediate and long range solutions; and to carry out such other activities as the City Council may assign.
