Edinburg Housing Assistance Committee

Edinburg Housing Assistance Committee function is to advise the City Council on all matters related to housing conditions and housing needs of the city. The specific responsibilities of the Committee are listed as follows: (1) Policy formulation for the administration of the housing assistance program. (2) Making all final decisions as to the types of and the conditions under which housing assistance is to be delivered. (3) Incorporating into the decision-making process described above adequate appeals procedures. (4) Reporting to the City Council and the Community Development Council as to the progress and status of the housing assistance program.

The Board meets regularly every first Tuesday of the month.
