The City of Edinburg conducts its elections with the Hidalgo County Elections Department to ensure efficient and effective voting methods in compliance with state election laws. The City Secretary receives the Campaign Finance Reports from the City’s local candidates, officeholders, and political action committees as required by the Texas Ethics Commission. City Elections are conducted in accordance to the Texas Secretary of State November Election calendar.
