Census Takers will Now Visit Homes
If you haven't responded yet, it's not too late. You can still respond online, by phone, or by mail.
We continue to collect and complete Census data collection and apportionment counts. This is in order to comply with our statutory deadline of December 31, 2020 as required by law and directed by the Secretary of Commerce, our mission to conduct a complete count, provide accurate apportionment data, and protect the health and safety of the public and our employees.
We continue to ask for your help by completing your Census and encouraging those around you to do the same. We will now start visiting every household that has not already responded to the Census to make sure they are counted.

A Census Taker will visit your home, and we need your cooperation so that our area gets accurately counted by participating. The Census Taker will ask the questions on the 2020 Census form and if the person is not home, they will leave a notice of visit (CLICK HERE) with information about how to respond online or by phone.
We want to remind everyone that completing the Census is easy, safe, and it's important. A complete and accurate count will benefit our Rio Grande Valley!
