Edinburg Library to Celebrate Da de los Nios, Da de los Libros

EDINBURG, TX – 
The Dustin Michael Sekula Memorial Library invites you to celebrate Día de los Niños, Día de los Libros this Friday, May 7, 2021 from 6pm – 8pm at the Edinburg City Hall Courtyard.

Families attending this free event will be treated to an evening of activities, games, and prizes as they visit booths run by community organizations including the Boys and Girls Club of Edinburg, the Edinburg Fire Department, the Museum of South Texas History, the International Museum of Art & Science, Edinburg Scenic Wetlands and World Birding Center, and more. During this event, the library will also be offering the opportunity to register for a library card!

This special event is in collaboration with Springboards to Education, whose Millionaire Reader mascot “Bravo” will make an appearance, and South Texas Literacy Coalition, who will be offering free books throughout the evening.
