Edinburg Library to Host Immigration Q&A Forum

EDINBURG, TX –
 Are you ready to take the next step in becoming a US Citizen? If the answer is yes, then you do not want to miss our upcoming Immigration Q&A Forum, scheduled for Thursday, September 30, 2021 in the Dustin Michael Sekula Memorial Library’s Meeting Room. The Immigration Q&A Forum will take place at 6:00 pm. Registration is required to attend this very informative free event.  

The Dustin Michael Sekula Memorial Library is partnering with Uniendo Naciones, Solo Por Servir to host the Immigration Q&A Forum. In this forum, attendees will get the opportunity to ask basic Immigration questions to a panel of Immigration Attorneys and a Community Affair Officer. This panel will include Oralia de Luna, Immigration and Nationality Law Attorney - De Luna Law Offices, P.C., Jorge De La Fuente, Immigration Attorney - LUPE (La Union Del Pueblo Entero), Lazara Garza, Immigration Attorney - South Texas Immigration Council, and Szureika Rodriguez, Community Affair Officer - Consulate General of Mexico.

Guest speakers will provide insight into some of the most recent changes affecting immigration in the United States. Forum participants will also be available to answer the community’s questions related to the immigration process.

Uniendo Naciones, Solo Por Servir is a non-profit organization founded in October 2017, that through volunteerism and donations provides classes and services that assists to meet the needs of others.  Their main objective is to provide enriching activities and services aimed at improving the well-being of individuals, families, and communities. The organization fosters a healthy social and family coexistence and strives to integrate the diverse cultures while allowing them to adapt to the forms, customs, and traditions of this great nation.
