Punk Rock concert coming to City of Edinburg

Edinburg, TX—Get ready for an electrifying evening of punk rock at the Spring Concert Series, hosted by the City of Edinburg as part of the Music Friendly Community program. The concert will be held on June 1, 2024, starting at 7 p.m. at the City of Edinburg Food Truck Park at 201 N. 7th Ave. The Cultural Arts Department will host an unforgettable night of live music featuring performances by local bands SLF, Havrath, Brag, and Shattered Stories.

These dynamic performers will set the stage for a night full of excitement, leading up to the headliner, Down with System, a cover band paying tribute to the iconic System of a Down. Fans can expect a high-energy show with powerful performances and the vibrant energy only live punk music can deliver.

The Spring Concert Series celebrates local music talent, offering fans an evening of exceptional performances in a lively outdoor setting.

“Edinburg was designated a Music Friendly Community by the Office of the Governor’s Texas Music Office in September 2022, and aims to uplift local musicians in a variety of genres from Punk, Tejano, Country, Latin Jazz, and others and share their talent with our residents,” said Magdiel Castle, Assistant Director of Cultural Arts.
