Building Safety Division
The Building Safety Division takes an active approach with contractors and developers to complete construction projects in a timely and environmentally conscious manner in accordance with International Code Council, City Codes and Ordinances.
The division also inspects both residential and commercial buildings, plumbing, electrical and mechanical work, pools sprinkler systems, repairs and remodeling to any infrastructure to ensure that all are up to code.
Permits are required for new construction, remodeling, repairs, additions, demolition, moving as well as for plumbing, electrical and mechanical work that is involved within the city.
