Capital Improvement Projects

Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) helps maintain, improve or develop City infrastructure, assets, and amenities.

Projects found on the dashboard are classified into the following categories:

A.   BUILDING & FACILITIES                         
New construction, remodeling, or general improvements to buildings and facilities.

B.   DRAINAGE                                                   
Storm water detention facilities, regrading/reprofiling projects, or inlet upgrades.

C.   PARK & COMMUNITY AMENITIES       
Playscapes, hike n’ bike trails, aquatics, golf, courts, and general park improvements.

D.   STREETS                                                    
Reconstruction, repaving, and/or street widening projects. (includes curb/gutter)

E.   WATER / SEWER                                       
Water and wastewater new line runs or upgrades to existing lines.

F.    OTHER                                                          
Major equipment, public safety, solid waste, technology, etc.

Management of these projects will serve as quality control and quality assurance that all requirements are met for public infrastructure to better serve our citizens.

Each project will be coded by one of the following phases:

• Planning & Acquisition
• Design
• Construction
• Completion
