Permits and Applications
To Apply for permits or Inspections online please click on Citizen Self-Service Portal Icon.
If you need assistance with creating an account with Citizen Self-Service Portal (CSS) click here. All Building and related permits ensure that projects will be constructed accordingly to State and adopted Codes. These Codes are designed to protect buildings from collapse and fire, and to ensure the safety of all building occupants. A selection of permits, such as electrical, plumbing and mechanical permits can be issued at time of application.
Residential and Commercial Building Permit Applications may take up to five working days or more to process. Applications for these permits should be submitted well in advance of the scheduled starting date. This will allow time for city staff to offer assistance through the process and issue at the start of the project. Building contractors and subcontractors will need to register with the City of Edinburg before conducting business in the City Limits. |
