Solid Waste Management
The Department of Solid Waste Management (DSWM) proudly serves the residents and customers of the City of Edinburg by providing a full range of environmentally sound solid waste collection, processing, disposal, recycling and environmental services to effectively and efficiently manage all of the solid waste needs of each resident and commercial customer. In addition to our curbside services, DSWM also operates a citizen recycling drop-off center and drop-off site at our Landfill for bulk items and white goods.

The Department currently serves approximately 26,000 households, 2,200 commercial/institutions and employs 96 employees.
