Artrageous
Artrageous Fine Arts Fair is Sponsored by the Edinburg Arts Foundation. This event is an annual gala spearheaded by the Cultural Arts Division of the City of Edinburg. Artrageous 2020 will be taking place on February 5th and February 6th, 2020.Artrageous will be held at the Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance. This show features select artists from throughout the region, with a wide variety of paintings as well as sculpture, photography, mixed media, and glass works. Read more about it here.

UFO Festival
The Edinburg UFO Festival will be postponed from the first weekend of April to the second weekend of August due to travel concerns for the UFO Celebrity Presenters, possibly becoming infected from COVID-19. The UFO Celebrities, which appear on tv shows such as Ancient Aliens, would be traveling from current infection clusters and go through various airports before arriving in the RGV, which would potentially expose them to infectionThe Annual Edinburg UFO Festival, 3rd ranked in the United States, will be postponed to August 13th – 15th 2020.  This three-day Festival will include conferences by renowned UFO speakers from shows like Ancient Aliens and Fact or Faked; a Festival full of activities like a planetarium, tin foil hat station, vendors, Autopsy Room, and much more; costume contests, and a 3D mapping experience, and an "Out of this World" music-lights-sound show. The UFO Festival will also include footage of UFO sightings in the Rio Grande Valley. Read more here.

La Casa de Benarda Alba Performance
The City of Edinburg Library and Cultural Arts presents La Casa de Benarda Alba written by Federico Garcia Lorca and directed by Dr.Edna Ochoa. The play will take place at the Edinburg Municipal Auditorium located at 415 W. University Dr. Edinburg, Tx 78539. The performance will run from April 15 to April 18 and April 22 to April 25, 2020 at 6:30 P.M.

STXIIF: Open for Submissions
The City of Edinburg, in an effort to promote the Visual Arts in the Rio Grande Valley, hosts the annual South Texas International Film Festival,  Held in Edinburg, Texas. STXIFF is a competitive international film festival currently accepting films in the categories of Regional Film, Short Film and Feature Length Film. The Amnesty Program: Feb 17-March 31, 2020
Edinburg Municipal Court is getting ready for its Amnesty Program. If you have an outstanding traffic citation or other Class C misdemeanor, this is an opportunity to pay your fine or make arrangements to pay, without any additional fees. Failure to Appear charges will be waived for those who come in voluntarily.
