Edinburg, TX — Due to the rainfall, the City of Edinburg will host a sandbag distribution today, Monday, June 15, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at two locations in the city.
A drive-thru event will be held at the Edinburg Service Center (1201 N. Doolittle Road) where city staff will load sandbags in vehicles upon arrival, while supplies last. A self-service distribution will also be held at Edinburg Municipal Park (714 S. Raul Longoria Road). Shovels will be available for use on-site.

The distribution is open to Edinburg residents and local businesses. Each household may receive up to six (6) sandbags, and each business may receive up to eight (8) sandbags. Proof of residency must be provided.
